Grooming operations will be adjusted on a daily basis to accommodate the safety of our groomer operators, so riders should expect varying conditions on the trails.
Trail Closure Updates:
3/14/21 Grooming suspended due to
lack of snow and icy conditions.
3/23/21 Gates are closed on Trail 3
north of Mohawk and near Phoenix.
3/24/21 Due to warm weather and rain,
most trails are in very poor condition
- Sections of the trail system will again be closed due to extensive damage from the June 2018 flood. The closed trails are: the South Freda (120) and North Freda (121) Trails and Trail 3 from Dollar Bay to Lake Linden. The trail from Hancock to Dollar Bay will be open and the trail to Lake Linden from Calumet will be open, so both of these towns will be accessible via snowmobile.
- Trail 133 from Gay to LacLaBelle will be closed for the winter due to logging. You can still get to Gay via Trails 122 or 124 and LacLaBelle may be accessed via Trail 132.
- Logging may be present on other trails. LOGGING TRUCKS DO HAVE THE RIGHT OF WAY, so please obey signs in the area, allow trucks to pass through and then proceed down the trail.
Please stay on the trails, STAY OFF THE ICE, respect private property, do not drink and drive, and above all else, drive safely. The signs on the trails are there for rider’s safety, so please
DO NOT remove or destroy them.
